For several decades, GO has been challenged to envision and create “The Home of the Future” for companies including Apple, IBM, Intel, Honeywell, AT&T, and Oracle, with collaborations involving NREL, RMI, Linux, DOE, and IBHS.
FutureHome2027 carries that legacy into the AI era. The inaugural home in a planned annual demonstration series, it is designed to prove how intelligence can enhance quality of life through greater energy efficiency, resilience, safety, security, wellness, comfort, and value—while lowering the total cost of ownership.
A new FutureHome is planned each year through FutureHome2037, creating a continuing platform to showcase emerging technologies and demonstrate their practical benefits for homeowners.
